This Work Gets Expensive / VINCENT BRONS / 2026
This Work Gets Expensive (TWGE) is an ongoing investigation into how value is created in the art world. In the first work, a decaying frame carries a projected price that rises every second, while the object itself continues to deteriorate. By making price part of the artwork, the project exposes the influence of reputation, attention, scarcity, context and time on what we consider valuable.
THE ART OF DOING NOTHING / VINCENT BRONS / 2026
The Art of Doing Nothing explores the tension between stillness and the constant pressure to keep moving. Presented in a busy corridor at Martini Hospital, the exhibition is completed by the people who hurry past it. Their movement transforms the surrounding rush into part of the work itself.

A fighter jet’s shadow cuts across a quiet swimming pool. Leisure and threat occupy the same small frame. The work asks how safe we really are when danger is present but easy to ignore.
